Brentwood, TN — Today, Senator Marsha Blackburn released a new episode of her podcast, Freedom Rings, featuring the founder of Barrett Firearms and inventor of the first shoulder-fired .50 caliber rifle, Ronnie Barrett.

“Ronnie Barrett’s faith and hard work led him to successfully create the .50 caliber rifle used by the U.S. Army, and I am delighted to share his story on a new episode of Freedom Rings,” said Senator Blackburn. “As the founder of Barrett Firearms and a board member of the NRA, Ronnie is now seeking to educate young men and women on the importance of protecting our right to bear arms and how to use a firearm safely. It is my hope that his story inspires Americans to pursue their passions and understand the opportunities are limitless in the land of the free.”
