Milwaukee, WI – U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) released the following statement on President Donald Trump’s selection of U.S. Senator JD Vance (R-OH) to be his running mate on the 2024 ticket.
“The America First ticket just became stronger with Senator JD Vance joining President Trump as his running mate,” said Senator Blackburn. “JD is a true freedom fighter, who will champion the issues important to Americans: secure borders, safer communities, lower taxes, a lethal fighting force, and the rule of law. It has been an honor to serve with JD in the U.S. Senate and to witness his hard work on behalf of Ohioans. I know he will make an incredible Vice President for the American people, and I’m all in for Trump-Vance 2024! Together, we’ll defeat Joe Biden and the Democrats in November and save our country.”
