Congressman Marsha Blackburn said today that the flooding is the worst in the Music City’s history. She says the unprecedented flooding is being called, in her words, “a 500-year or millennial flood.” Blackburn says homes and businesses are under water, and vital roads and bridges may have been damaged.
In addition, at least one water treatment plant is out of service resulting in no fresh water in some areas.
